Alpaca fiber has a natural sheen. It is breathable, has unique thermal properties, and contains very little lanolin (wool fat). This makes it suitable for allergy sufferers, babies, and the most sensitive skin. It is dust-repellent, self-cleaning, low in lint, and almost entirely free from pilling.

The product should not be exposed to prolonged direct sunlight. UV radiation may cause discoloration.

To maintain the unique properties of alpaca fiber, we recommend gently vacuuming and shaking out your fur product regularly. Occasional brushing with a special brush helps preserve its natural sheen and removes light dirt. Alpaca wool products can be hand-washed with a mild detergent or wool shampoo in lukewarm water (<30°C) or on a wool cycle. For heavy soiling, we generally recommend professional cleaning.
