HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA

We, JL LIVING, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We comply with the applicable legal regulations for the protection, lawful handling, and confidentiality of personal data as well as data security, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Act ("DSG"), the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), and the Telecommunications Act ("TKG").  The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. As far as personal data (for example, name, address, or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is done, where possible, always on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may have security gaps. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible. We process the data you voluntarily provide through active input (e.g., in inquiries, offers, etc.). This includes, for example, your master, contact, correspondence, or applicant data. In addition, we process data that is automatically collected from you (server, log files). However, this information is only used to determine the attractiveness of our website, to continuously improve its content, and to make it even more interesting for you. A merging of this data with personal data will not take place. We reserve the right to review this data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing, and blocking or deletion of incorrect or unlawfully processed data. Unless an explicit storage duration is specified during collection (e.g., as part of a consent declaration), your personal data will be deleted (or anonymized) as soon as they are no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose of storage and no legal retention obligations (e.g., commercial and tax retention obligations) oppose.

 

TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

 

JL LIVING ensures a confidential handling of your data. There will be no transfer to third parties, such as through sale, rental, exchange, or any other means of making it available to third parties. The collection, processing, and use of personal data is partially essential for the postal dispatch of materials and samples, the request for newsletters, or participation in a competition. JL LIVING takes the principle of data minimization very seriously and only collects the data that is truly necessary for further processing. Furthermore, it will be pointed out at the appropriate place that your data will be stored exclusively for the specific purpose. Insofar as JL LIVING uses a third party to fulfill orders (documents, magazine, etc.), we assure you that your data will also be treated with the utmost care here and will only be used for the purpose of the order.
