Designer Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal grew up with sailboats and life at sea—an inspiration reflected in this unique vase. Inspired by the spinnaker sail of a sailboat, the design brings the fresh dynamism of a light breeze directly into your home. The vase's curved lines and airy shape capture the movement and lightness created when the wind fills the sail, giving it a touch of energy and vibrancy.
Leeward —the calm, sheltered side—symbolizes a place of harmony where a gentle tailwind provides propulsion and serenity. Like a sailboat carried by the tailwind, experiencing both momentum and calm, this vase conveys a sense of freedom and adventure.
Place this design object as a work of art in your home to create an atmosphere full of dynamism and inspiration. Initially handcrafted from wood using simple tools, the vase evokes the joy and sense of freedom of life at sea. Experience a touch of tailwind with every glance at this extraordinary piece and be captivated by the beauty and ease of sailing.

Care instructions
The hand-painted exterior should only be cleaned with a soft cloth. If necessary, you can slightly dampen the cloth and gently wipe the soiled area. Afterward, it is important to dry the vase completely. To avoid damage during storage, we recommend keeping the product in its original packaging when not on display. The interior of the vase is glazed and therefore suitable for water. However, since ceramic is a porous material, we recommend allowing the vase to dry completely between uses to ensure its longevity.
