The Échasse Collection reimagines the classic elegance of glass vases and bowls, combining a minimalist silhouette with a striking, playful touch that adds intriguing accents to both modern and traditional spaces. Theresa Rand's playful concept elegantly incorporates the French word "Échasse," meaning "stilts." The slender, stilt-like support legs gently carry the glass forms, creating a lightness that yet lends stability.
The Échasse Vase was inspired by laboratory test tubes. Its teardrop shape is both elegant when displaying flowers on a desk, on the living room floor, or simply empty, as well as a delicate, sculptural addition. The smoky glass version with brushed brass legs is available in three sizes. The unique gradients of the glass add depth to the design and create a striking contrast with the clean lines of the legs. The smallest vase is also available with clear glass and bronzed brass legs—a classic combination that fits perfectly into any interior and, with its compact size, is perfect for smaller spaces.
Their aura is ethereal, their design sublime in every way. The Échasse Collection , as its test tube origins suggest, opens up endless possibilities for experimentation. Alone or together, filled with favorite flowers, fruits, and objects, or as a standalone sculptural highlight—these pieces lend both boldness and grace to modern spaces.
