Characteristics

Alpaca fiber has a natural luster. It's breathable, has unique thermal properties, and contains hardly any lanolin (wool fat). This makes it suitable for allergy sufferers, babies, and even the most sensitive skin. It's dust-repellent, self-cleaning, low-lint, and almost completely pill-free.
The product should not be exposed to prolonged strong sunlight. UV radiation may cause discoloration.

Care

To preserve the unique properties of alpaca fiber, we recommend gently vacuuming and shaking your fur product regularly. Occasional brushing of the fur with a special brush maintains its natural shine and removes light soiling. Alpaca wool products can be hand-washed in lukewarm water (< 30 degrees Celsius) or on a wool cycle using a mild detergent or wool shampoo. For heavily soiled items, we generally recommend professional cleaning.
